How Do We Pay for it All?

You have a rock solid plan and a lot of it is common sense, but how are you going to pay for it? Politicians claim my ideas require higher taxes or state bailouts; the reality is that stopping institutional waste and unleashing enterprise makes Philadelphia completely self-sustaining. In short, the ideas pay for themselves and then some. First, we launch an immediate line-item audit across every municipal agency to eliminate administrative ghost jobs, and we cancel bloated no-bid contracts across all city departments. Second, we monetize idle city-owned infrastructure through my Philly Spaces Initiative by selling venue naming rights and we lease digital billboard space along transit corridors for pure, risk-free profit. Third, we liquidate thousands of rotted properties through accelerated Land Bank auctions with strict build-or-forfeit clauses, and we return those long-neglected parcels onto active municipal tax rolls. Fourth, we aggressively cut crushing local levies like the Wage Tax to keep working families in their homes and we slash the Business Income and Receipts Tax to stop companies from fleeing to the suburbs. Fifth, we cap executive agency spending to prevent runaway budget bloat and we strictly regulate new public debt to protect our long-term fiscal stability. Sixth, we run a zero-dollar independent movement free from special-interest payoffs, and we redirect those political savings straight into neighborhood infrastructure and police force expansion. Seventh, we capture millions in fresh tourism revenue through pre-departure check-in hubs at 30th Street Station and we fill local hotels and restaurants by offering secure garage parking for shuttling regional travelers. Eighth, we bring parking enforcement back under local control to keep revenues inside city limits and we utilize those reclaimed dollars to repair our roads and protect our commercial corridors. Ninth, we end sanctuary city policies to drive up baseline hourly wages for working-class citizens, enforce federal immigration laws to open up job availability and increase affordable housing supply across our neighborhoods for legal Philadelphians. Tenth, we secure private historic preservation tax credits and philanthropic grants to restore saved civic landmarks like the Roundhouse, and we partner with local business sponsors to fund neighborhood beautification at zero cost to the general fund.

Rebuilding Philadelphia Together

If you choose me, every Philadelphian will stand as tall as William Penn’s hat and be as grounded as the ashes buried beneath Washington Square. We aren’t normalizing unacceptable behavior anymore. With me as your Mayor, we’ll move in the opposite direction of cities like Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Detroit, Seattle and St. Louis. My only qualification is that I am a builder, and I need you to be the architects of this city's future. Ultimately, we all bleed red. When the tragedy of September 11th struck, we proved that we could all come together as a nation and rebuild; now, we must do it again. So, stand up with me, and let's bring Philly back!

Pennsylvania State Fair

To usher in a new Philly Golden Age, restore civic pride, and give Philadelphians a landmark achievement to look forward to an event at the end of each four-year mayoral term for generations to come: A State and World Fair. My administration will establish The Pennsylvania State Fair at Fairmount Park, debuting in West Fairmount Park’s historic Centennial District during the final Autumnal Equinox of our term from mid-September through late October. It will be modeled after the 1876 World's Fair. Driven entirely by private enterprise, local vendors, people who wanna make a name for themselves, and agricultural associations—at zero cost to the Philadelphia taxpayer—this premier four-to-six-week exposition will celebrate municipal achievements and revive our crown jewel park by eliminating red tape for small businesses and people who want a equal opportunity to advance, replacing oppressive permit fees with an open-market trade bazaar, and welcoming microbreweries, craftsmen, and local food entrepreneurs. The festival will showcase Pennsylvania’s energy sector, technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, and family farming traditions alongside historical reenactments of Philadelphia’s founding era, public debates on social ideas, and live music and entertainment particular to Pennsylvania and Her County. To preserve surrounding residential neighborhoods, maintain open spaces, and prevent gridlock, a fleet of dedicated green-fleet shuttles will continuously transport fairgoers between off-site transit hubs, parking centers, and the park grounds, while strict law enforcement guarantees a safe, family-friendly environment. This Quadrennial Fall Gathering will serve as a celebration of our city's progress today while laying the strategic foundation to position Philadelphia for the future 2050 and 2076 globally recognized World’s Fair sanctioned by the intergovernmental Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) that will showcase international innovation and diplomacy on Philly soil.

The Golden Age of Philadelphia

The Golden Age of Philadelphia is coming! Every good movie has great music; this is a movie you won’t want to miss. Now that you know who I am, where I come from, and why I’m standing in this gap, let’s be crystal clear before we dive into the policy roadmaps ahead: This city does not belong to the bosses, the DA’s political circus, the Mayor’s cluelessness or the radical ideologues using our streets as an experimental playground. Philadelphia belongs to you—the worker riding the sub at dawn, the parent praying their kids walk home safe from school, the shopkeeper locking their doors at night, the mother and daughter alone in a car not worrying if they will be intimidated or confronted in the middle of a protest or flash-mob, the CEO not worrying if he will be shot walking outside his building, the blue collar worker who still believes Philly’s best days aren’t behind Her, and the father worrying if what their child learns in school goes against morality.
